Privacy policy
How Recumed processes the data of people who use the website and contact the company.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Controller and contact
The data controller is Recumed Sp. z o.o., ul. Kazimierza Wielkiego 7 lok. 5, 65-047 Zielona Góra, Poland. For any matter concerning personal data, you can contact us at biuro@recumed.pl.
Data you provide when contacting us
The form collects your name, email address, message and, optionally, organisation. Using the form is voluntary. It cannot be submitted without the required fields. You can also email us directly. Please do not include health information or patient data.
If sending through the website is unavailable, you can open a prepared message in your own email application. You then send it yourself.
Purposes and legal bases
We process contact details and message content to answer your enquiry and continue the correspondence. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to messages sent to the company (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where the enquiry concerns entering into a contract, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We use your IP address in a submission limit that protects the form against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providers and data transfers
Data may be received by the service providers we use: Vercel (website hosting), nazwa.pl (company email) and Resend (delivery of form messages). They process it on our behalf and according to our instructions. The hosting provider records technical connection data, such as IP addresses, in server logs.
Vercel and Resend are based in the United States, so data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on mechanisms provided for in the GDPR, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. For information about these safeguards, email biuro@recumed.pl.
How long we keep data
We keep correspondence while we handle the enquiry and any further cooperation, and then until the limitation period for related claims expires. We keep it longer only where the law requires it.
The IP address used by the submission limit is held only in server memory, is not stored in a database and is deleted after the 10-minute limit window. Technical server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited time under its own rules.
Browser preferences and analytics
When you use the animation pause or resume button, the website saves your choice in your browser's local storage as recumed-motion. It is used only to remember your motion preference. The entry does not expire on its own; you can remove it by clearing this website's data in your browser.
The website does not use analytics tools or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing. You may also object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where we process data in connection with a contract, you also have the right to data portability.
For requests concerning your data, email biuro@recumed.pl. You can also complain to the President of Poland's Personal Data Protection Office. Further information: rights explained by UODO (in Polish).
Automated decisions and policy changes
We do not profile website users or make decisions about them based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. Automated anti-spam protection may reject a submission or temporarily limit sending through the form; you can then email us instead.
If we change how we process data, we will update this policy on this page.
